what is biodiversity & what is value of biodiversity?
Biodiversity is the variety of life in the world or a particular habitat or ecosystem. The value of biodiversity is very high, for if there was no biodiversity in a biome or ecosystem the environment would change and some organisms could no longer thrive, others would take their place. Many of the species that are vital to a healthy ecosystem may appear insignificant. Insects, for example play an essential role in pollinating food and crops. The variety of species on the planet is vast. This is of vital importance because it supports the functioning of ecosystems.

It is not a promise that this will do much, so funds are being made to stand up for the taiga to also stop the mining. A large group working to save the taiga is the Taiga Rescue Network made up of NGOs and individuals. Their goal is to conserve and stop harmful consumption of the forests. They so this through educating others and researching.
